William Arthur George Chuck was born in West Ham, Essex, in January 1896 and attested for the Royal Field Artillery at Stratford, Essex, on 12 January 1915. He served during the Great War on the Western Front from 14 November 1915, and was discharged on 31 March 1920. He died at Stepney, London, on 22 October 1949.

Richard Pearson was born in 1897 and attested for the Royal Field Artillery at Hull on 21 April 1915. He served during the Great War on the Western Front from 13 December 1915, and was discharged on 31 March 1920.
