William J. Daniel attested for the Welsh Regiment and served during the Great War in the Balkan theatre of War from 10 October 1915. He was entitled to a Silver War Badge.

Richard Daniels attested for the Welsh Regiment and served during the Great War on the Western Front from 19 July 1915. He subsequently transferred to the Liverpool Regiment, and was promoted Corporal.

Sold with the recipient’s Physical and Bayonet Training certificate, dated 21 December 1917, this in repaired in parts.
