John Hill attested for the Middlesex Regiment and served with them during the Great War on the Western Front from 23 February 1915.
Albert Edward Goddard was born in Hammersmith, London, and attested for the Middlesex Regiment at Shepherds Bush, London. He served with the 3rd Battalion during the Great War on the Western Front from 9 February 1915, and was killed in action on 8 May 1915. He has no known grave, and is commemorated on the Ypres (Menin Gate) Memorial, Belgium.
