Charles Daniels was born in 1897 and attested for the Territorial Force at Grays, Essex, on 24 April 1913, aged 15. Posted to the 2nd East Anglia Brigade, Royal Field Artillery, he served as a Trumpeter at home, and during the Great War on the Western Front with 410 Battery from 17 March 1918. He was demobilised on 11 July 1919.

Frederick W. W. Daniels served with the the Royal Field Artillery during the Great War, before transferring to the Labour Corps.

Kenneth Wilfrid Parker was born in 1898 and attested for the Royal Garrison Artillery on 17 May 1916. Mobilised on 3 November 1917, he served with 279 Siege Battery during the Great War, and was transferred to Class ‘Z’ Reserve on 2 March 1919.
