Henry Thomas Sandy Golding was born in Salisbury and attested for the Dorset Regiment at Andover, Hampshire. He served with the 5th Battalion during the Great War, and was killed in action on the Western Front on 8 October 1917. He has no known grave and is commemorated on the Tyne Cot Memorial, Belgium.
Vincent Link Woodward and Ernest Joseph Woodward were both born in Bristol in, 1885 and 1894 respectively, and both served with the Gloucestershire Regiment during the Great War.
