Gordon Christopher Pearson was the son of John and Alice Laura Pearson of Weoley Castle, Birmingham. He served during the Second War as a Sergeant (Observer) with the Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve. Pearson served with 37 Squadron (Wellingtons), at Shallufa, Egypt, in 1942, and was serving with the latter at the time of his death, 7 April 1942.
Sergeant Pearson is buried in the El Alamein War Cemetery, Egypt.
