R.H.S. Case no. 38774:
‘At 6:30 a.m. on 27th September 1911, Joseph Taylor accidentally fell overboard from a fishing boat outside Scarborough Harbour, the sea being choppy. James Middleton jumped after him and kept him afloat until they were got on board half an hour later.’
