Army Service Corps Officer’s Blue Cloth Helmet c. 1888-1901, the skull complete with all gilt metal fittings, the frontal plate of crowned star pattern with laurel and Garter overlays, in the centre on a ground of red velvet (incorrect) a silver monogram ‘ASC’, the plate not original to the helmet, buff leather sweatband and retailer’s details ‘E. Carrington, Old Brompton, Kent’, some gilt loss but otherwise in good condition £200-£300
