Army Veterinary Corps Officer’s Blue Cloth Helmet c. 1902-14, the skull complete with all gilt metal fittings, the frontal plate of crowned star pattern with laurel and Garter overlays, in the centre on a ground of green vitreous enamel a silver monogram ‘AVC’, the plate is not original to the helmet, buff leather sweatband, the plate with much original gilt the other fittings devoid of gilt, otherwise good overall condition £300-£400
