Calcutta of circular format overlaid with broad sprays of thistles and other floral species, over the voided centre a crowned saltire bearing the arms of the city, a monogram below comprising ‘S’ and double ‘C’s; stout pin fastener. The large size plated button features the crowned saltire city arms etc, marked on the reverse, ‘Calcutta Scottish Phelps & Co. Calcutta’, very fine (2) £500-£700
