58th (Rutlandshire) Regiment & Heavy Cavalry Officers’ Waist Belt Plates. The first of standard 1855 pattern, the crown over 58’ in the centre and ‘Rutlandshire Regiment’ on the circle; the second of standard rectangular format the gilt back plate with a burnished rim and seeded ground, thereon in silver the crowned cypher of King Edward VII, oak sprays and the motto ‘Diue Et Mon Droit’, the outer bars on the first item cut through and no gilt remains, therefore fair condition (2) £140-£200
