An 1896 Pattern Infantry Officer’s Sword. The 83 cm bright blade stamped ‘London Made’ with single fuller and etched with the crowned GVR cypher and scrolling foliage, also engraved ‘C.T.Maclean Royal Fusiliers’. Plated metal handguard incorporating the Royal Cypher, wire bound fishskin grip, brown leather Service sword knot (fractured) together with its brown leather covered metal service scabbard, good condition £60-£100
