Persia, Empire, Order of the Lion and the Sun, Second Class neck badge, 78mm including suspension x 76mm, silver-gilt and enamel, embellished with 263 paste ‘diamonds’ as follows: 34 diamonds to each ray, 17 larger diamonds around the central medallion, and 42 diamonds on the suspension, with 6 paste ‘emeralds’ between rays, with additional reverse retaining pin, unmarked, 9 diamonds and 1 emerald missing, otherwise very fine £600-£800
