The Royal Navy Officer’s Shoulder Belt Plate c1800, a most rare and superb quality example of oval gilt outline, the gilt back plate with a raised beaded rim and a lightly seeded ground, this mounted with an elongated diamond cut eight-pointed silver star, in the centre on a ground of rich blue vitreous enamel a silver gilt fouled anchor, one hook and two stud fasteners, excellent condition £2,000-£3,000
