29th (Worcestershire) Regiment Officer’s Shoulder Belt Plate c1832-1855, an extremely fine example, the burnished gilt rectangular back plate with a single gilt mount, this being the crowned Garter Proper on a ground of vitreous blue enamel, in the centre on a ground of red velvet the crowned Lion of England on a torse, statant guardant (Parkyn 246).
