34th (Cumberland) Regiment Officer’s Shoulder Belt Plate c1830-1845, the burnished gilt rectangular back plate mounted with a silver multi-rayed beaded star, thereon a gilt crowned Bath pattern cross set upon laurel sprays. The arms of the cross bearing a total of seven battle honours, in the centre a circle, ‘Cumberland Regt.’ enclosing on a domed silver ground, silver engine turned numerals ‘34’, the back plate with some gilt loss and slight buckling to one corner, the crown appears to be fractured from the cross, otherwise good condition £500-£700
