Rhodesia, General Service (Maj K. M. Edgar); 1939-45 Star; Atlantic Star; Defence and War Medals, mounted as worn, with named Air Ministry card box of issue for the last four addressed to ‘S/L. K. M. Edgar, Pietermaritzburg’, together with related group of five mounted miniatures and silver sports medal ‘No. 1 School of Technical Training. Royal Air Force’, very fine (11) £40-£60
K. M. Edgar was Rhodesian Chaplain to the Forces with H.Q. 1 Brigade, Bulawayo. His service number was 780784 and he held the rank of Major in 1975.
Sold with two related silver and enamel medals of the Society of Miniature Rifle Clubs, each hallmarked Birmingham 1908, the reverses engraved ‘Rev. J. Edgar B.A. 1st 50 yds Stranocum 1910’, and ‘Rev. J. Edgar B.A. Co. Antrim Championship 1910’, together with a Chaplain’s black silk stole with embroidered insignia.
