A large Victorian memorial brooch, the central oval panel bearing a photograph of a bearded gentleman, the plain mount with scroll details to the cardinal points, the reverse with central glazed hairwork scene of a funerary urn beneath weeping willows, surrounded by the inscription ‘To Ellen Patterson Murray, from Ebenezer Murray, her husband, in commemoration of 20th January 1847’ and ‘In memory of Agnes McFarlane Murray, who died 31st Decr 1855 Aged 3 years’, length 69mm. £150-£200
