Edward Price is confirmed on the roll for this action as an Able Seaman aboard H.M.S. Calypso, which ship, together with the Dictator, Podargus and Flamer, destroyed the Danish frigate Nayaden and three brigs off Mardoe, on the coast of Norway. Seven clasps were issued to Calypso out of a total of 47 clasps for the action. Two other men with this name are shown on the medal roll, a Private R.M. for Anholt 1811, and another Private R.M. for Martinique and Pompee 1809 (VANOR).
