A collection of Medieval bronze seal matrices, 14th century, all circular chess piece style with central loop behind, the first reads ‘PRIVE SU’ (I am private) with a chicken walking in the centre; the second reads ‘I CRAKE NOTIS’ (I crack nuts) with a squirrel; the third reads ‘SUM LEO FORTIS’ (I am a strong lion), with a lion rampant.
