A French miniature gilt metal carriage timepiece, circa 1900, the elaborate case with Corinthian column angles, banding with turquoise-coloured beading, the dial mask applied with flowering foliage set with rose-cut diamonds, the cream dial decorated with colourful floral festoons and with Arabic numerals, blued steel hands, the movement with lever escapement, unsigned, contained in morocco leather travelling case with repeating gilt florets, height 11cm. £800-£1,000
