Charles Keys served as a Trumpeter with the 1st Dragoon Guards from 1870, and was discharged on 29 June 1880, after 9 years, 8 months, and 12 days’ service. He later became an In-Patient of the Royal Hospital, Chelsea.
Sold with copied muster roll extracts, other research, and a photographic image of the Regimental Band in 1872.
