Sold with letter to the recipient from the Prime Minister’s Office, dated 6 June 1949, informing him of the award of he B.E.M.; and a letter to the recipient from the Assistant Secretary, War Office, on the occasion of his retirement as Principal Paperkeeper, dated 3 May 1961, both in envelopes addressed to ‘Edgar Grosvenor Esq., 29 Deans Lane, Edgware, Middlesex’; and named Buckingham Palace enclosure for the B.E.M.
