William Harold Holtman, a native of Cape Town, served with the South African Heavy Artillery during the Great War, and was promoted Bombardier on 3 June 1917. He was discharged at Cape Town on 8 May 1919.
Thomas Tryer was born in Liverpool in 1886.
William Elliot Lamb was born in Cumberland in 1877 and was commissioned temporary Sub Lieutenant, Royal Naval Reserve, on 15 January 1916.
