The Gordon Highlanders Officer’s Full Dress Dirk hall marked Edinburgh 1898, the 29.3 cm bright plain blade with single fuller and saw back edge, bog oak handle with silver pins, ornate bulbous finial with facetted stone, the black leather scabbard with top chape mount featuring the regimental insignia, the remaining chapes with double thistle spray decoration, the knife and fork with bog oak handles, retailed by Marshall and Aitken, Edinburgh, complete with black leather suspension strap, the regimental insignia mount on the top chape part detached otherwise very good condition £1,200-£1,600
