The Gordon Highlanders Officer’s Full Dress Dirk hall marked Edinburgh 1830, the 31 cm bright plain blade with single fuller and saw back edge, bog oak handle with silver pins, ornate top and facetted finial stone, the black leather scabbard with silver mounts the top one bearing the insignia of the regiment, the knife and fork with bog oak handles, the remaining chapes with thistle sprays, complete with its original velvet lined leather covered wooden box, retailed by J.R. Ebbutt, 85 Hanover St., Edinburgh, the box has provision for a skean dhu this missing, very good condition £1,200-£1,600
