Civilian Full Dress Dirk hall marked Edinburgh 1865 by G.N.E., the 28.5 cm bright plain blade with saw back edge, bog oak handle with silver pins and bulbous finial culminating in a decorated silver ring and facetted stone, the black leather scabbard with four chapes, the top one with a double thistle spray mount, the other three engraved with thistle sprays and other foliage, the knife and fork with similar handles and finials, complete with black leather suspension strap, the scabbard finial with some damage otherwise very good overall condition £600-£800
