Robert Jacques served with the Ammunition Train as part of the Royal Garrison Artillery during the Great War on the Western Front from 8 August 1915.

Sold with the recipient’s bound photograph album, containing 96 black and white photographs, with wartime views of (amongst others) Albert, Arras, Bethune, Delville Wood, Vimy Ridge, Ypres, and Paris, the majority with pencil annotations.
