Patek, Philippe & Cie, Genève’, the plain polished case bearing maker’s mark, stamped ‘18kts’ and numbered ‘261267’, in brown leather signed Patek Philippe case, with original paper ‘Certificat d’origine & de Garantie’, and hand stitched chamois leather sleeve, watch diameter 48.5mm. £2,400-£3,000
The serial number corresponds to a date of manufacture between 1905-1910.
Franz Michaelsen was a retailer of high-end timepieces based in Rome and with a further atelier in Naples.
