Pair: Private John Storey, 4th Light Dragoons, who served with the Light Brigade in the Crimea

Crimea 1854-56, 4 clasps, Alma, Balaklava, Inkermann, Sebastopol (J. Storey. 4th Lt. Dragns.) officially impressed naming; Turkish Crimea 1855, Sardinian issue (J. Storey, 4th Lt. Drs.) pierced with rings for suspension, the first with edge bruise and contact marks, suspension post sometime re-fixed, otherwise very fine £500-£700

Provenance: Sotheby’s, March 1888 and March 1900.

Medal and four clasps confirmed on rolls but there is no evidence that Storey took part in the charge at Balaklava.
