Khedive’s Sudan 1896-1908, 2 clasps, Sudan 1899, Nyima (2439 - 10th [Sudanese Infantry]) edge inscribed in Arabic script, edge bruise, good very fine £120-£160
This scarce clasp is the last in the series and was awarded to members of the small Force commanded by Kaimakam Lemprière, which took part in the punitive expedition in the Nyima Hills between 1 and 21 November 1908. No British troops were involved, the Force being furnished with hand-picked men from the 10th and 15th Sudanese Infantry and the Camel Corps.
