Queen’s South Africa 1899-1902, 1 clasp, Johannesburg (2188 Pte. J. Lewis. D.E.O.V. Rifles) good very fine £80-£100

J. Lewis served in the Duke of Edinburgh’s Own Volunteer Rifles from 6 February 1900 to 31 May 1902, and was entitled to the Queen’s South Africa Medal with clasp Cape Colony only, and not Johannesburg. His Q.S.A, was issued on 15 June 1903. He was also entitled to the King’s South Africa Medal with two clasps.
