Khedive’s Sudan 1896-1908 (2), 1 clasp, Nyima, unnamed as issued; another, 1 clasp, Abu Hamed, naming details erased on latter, minor edge nicks, nearly very fine (2) £120-£160
The scarce Nyima clasp was awarded to members of the small Force commanded by Kaimakam Lemprière Bey, which took part in the punitive expedition in the Nyima Hills between 1 and 21 November 1908. No British troops were involved, the Force being furnished with hand-picked men from the 10th and 15th Sudanese Infantry and the Camel Corps.
