William Thomas Way was born in Tenby on 21 September 1894, and joined the Royal Naval Reserve on 21 September 1904. He served during the Great War in H.M.S. Argonaut and H.M.S. King Alfred, and was shore demobilised on 16 April 1919. He died in Pembroke in 1942.
