Queen’s South Africa 1899-1902, 5 clasps, Cape Colony, Orange Free State, Transvaal, South Africa 1901, South Africa 1902 (142 Pte. H. W. Kellaway. Hampshire Regt.) edge bruise, good very fine £140-£180

H. W. Kellaway attested for the Hampshire Regiment, and served with the 2nd Battalion in South Africa during the Boer War. He was killed in a railway accident at Barberton, Transvaal, on 30 March 1902, in which approximately 40 men from the Regiment were killed. He is buried in Barberton Town Cemetery.
