Baltic 1854-55 (Henery. H. Smith, of H.M.S. Amphion.) contemporarily engraved naming, with top silver riband buckle, minor edge bruising, nearly extremely fine £160-£200

Henrey H. Smith was born in Maidenhead, Berkshire, in September 1827. Joining the Royal Navy, he served in H.M.S. Archer from September 1850 to December 1852, before transferring to H.M.S. Amphion in January 1853. He served in her with the rate of Able Seaman during the Baltic Campaign, 1854-55, and died following a fall from the rig on 29 April 1856.
