Albert Harris was born in Hornsey, Middlesex, and resided at Muswell Hill, Middlesex. He attested for the King’s Royal Rifle Corps and served with the 2nd Battalion during the Great War on the Western Front from 22 August 1914. He was killed in action on 10 January 1915 whilst fighting near La Bassée. He has no known grave and is commemorated on Le Touret Memorial, France.
