James II, First coinage, Groat, Third Fleur-de-lis issue, Edinburgh, mm. cross pattée, bust with bushy hair and tall crown, three pellets in first and fourth quarters, lis in second and third quarters, double annulet stops, 1.92g/9h (SCBI 35, 678ff; B 1, fig. 495; S 5225). Slightly irregular flan, otherwise good fine, portrait a little better £200-£260
