Sometime cleaned and rather double-struck on an irregular flan, otherwise nearly extremely fine and toned, extremely rare £6,000-£8,000

The description and image in the Glendining catalogue suggests that the coin has been skilfully cleaned and re-toned at some time in the last 35 years
