Charles I (1625-1649), York mint, Halfcrown, anomalous [type 4], mm. lion, ebor below horse, oval garnished shield, pellet stops both sides, 11.04g/6h (Bull 573; Besly pl. 8, 7; SCBI Brooker 1080; N 2312; S 2866). Very fine or better for issue, an unusually good specimen for the type £300-£400
