Charles I (1625-1649), Oxford mint, Groat, 1646/5, no mm., Rawlins’ bust, signed r below, 1.76g/12h (Morr. A-1; SCBI Brooker 960, same dies; N 2468; S 2991). Plugged at 9 o’clock and with small striking split at 2 o’clock, good fine, the overdate clear despite some double striking, rare £100-£150
