Charles I (1625-1649), Truro or Exeter mint, Halfcrown, Gp III, undated, mm. rose, king’s sash tied in bow, oval garnished shield, 13.90g/6h (Bull 660/14 (42-35), this coin; Besly J14; SCBI Brooker 1027, same dies; N 2550/1; S 3065). Flan split at 6 o’clock, otherwise good very fine or better with old cabinet tone, probably much as struck £600-£800
