Charles I (1625-1649), Worcester mint, Halfcrown, mm. castle on obv. only, w and grass below horseman, crowned square-topped shield, looped garniture at sides, 14.55g/8h (Bull 668/7; Allen B-7; SCBI Brooker 1142; N 2587; S 3096). On a slightly irregular flan, small attempted piercing in centre of reverse, otherwise good fine, very rare £1,000-£1,200
