Portobello Medals with Vernon’s portrait alone, Capture of Portobello, 1739, a pinchbeck medal, unsigned, three-quarter length figure of Vernon left, head facing, rev. six ships outside Portobello harbour, 37mm (Adams PBv 42-RR; Betts 198; MI –). Some old scratches, otherwise extremely fine with original colour £200-£260
