Portobello Medals with Vernon’s portrait and icons, Capture of Portobello, 1739, a pinchbeck medal, unsigned, Vernon standing right, ship to left and cannon to right, rev. six ships outside Portobello harbour, 38mm (Adams PBvi 23-LL; Betts –; MI –). Scuffed on high points of obverse and minor deposit, otherwise good very fine, rare £120-£150
