Arthur Hill attested for the London Regiment and served with the 6th Battalion during the Great War on the Western Front. He transferred to the 5th Battalion (with Regimental number 315145), and was killed in action on 28 March 1918. He is buried in Orchard Dump Cemetery, Arleux-en-Gohelle, France.
