Edward the Confessor (1042-1066), Penny, Godwine, godpine on her[–]:, 0.99g/12h (Freeman 43; BEH –; N 817; S 1174). Cracked from edge to centre, otherwise very fine and toned, extremely rare; perhaps only one other specimen available to commerce (£300-500)
