(retrograde) stamped around, “3rd” scratched on reverse, 81.20g. Edge knock between 7 and 8 o’clock, otherwise extremely fine and excessively rare (£1,000-1,250)
Following the abdication of Edward VIII on 10 December 1936, the design was adopted for the coinage of George VI
