James I (1406-1437), Groat, Second Fleur-de-lis issue, Stirling, mm. cross pattée, lis and two crescents on breast, i on sceptre handle, saltire to right of bust, rev. crescent in centre, pellet in first and fourth quarters, lis in second, lis and crescent in third, 2.09g/9h (SCBI 35 –; B 51, fig. 493; S 5203). Scratches both sides but very fine, very rare (£800-1,000)
