Grueber, 38mm (W & E 4520V.1); George V, Coronation, 1911, Borough of Shoreditch, gilt-brass medals by Vaughton (2), both 32mm (W & E 5243KK.2), and for Stoke Newington, by H. Grueber, in white metal, 39mm (W & E 5135U.1); Peace, 1919, Borough of Shoreditch, brass medals (2), unsigned, both 35mm; Hoxton Schools Swimming Association, a uniface silver award medalet, unsigned, named (Captain’s Medal, 1921, Thos. Meredith, Canal Rd.), 24mm; London Federation of Boys’ Clubs, silver award medals by J. Daffern (2), named (1937 Athletic Sports, Junior 1/2 Mile, R. Davenport, Hoxton Manor, 2 Mins 15 1/5 Secs; 1937 Junior Football, Class I, J. Davenport), both hallmarked Birmingham 1936), 42 and 22mm; Seven Sisters Marathon, 1991, a bronze participant’s medal, 38mm [14]. One 1919 medal excavated, others very fine and better, first of some age but with a loop mount crudely soldered to the top £90-£120
